FINAL TRYOUT AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM. Coaches, Agents and Talent Scouts will attend the event providing same chances to all players but at the same time identifiyng those most talented.
WHAT IS
"TALENT IDENTIFICATION
PROGRAM"
Some of the most well knows athletes who have trained with Perugia Calcio's youth teams are Gennaro Gattuso (AC Milan), Cristiano Lucarelli (SCC Napoli) and Andrea Ranocchia (FC Inter).
After 2005 and until 2010 Italian Soccer Management srl has carried forward the same project on behalf of Ascoli Calcio SPA (italian Serie B Club). By 2011 Italian Soccer Management srl cooperates with Empoli F.C. and Sunderland A.F.C. managing all initial selections and the technical organization of the 2 main offices in Empoli and Sunderland.
Empoli F.C. and Sunderland A.F.C. invest every year a lot of resources into their youth Teams and by this year they have asked Italian Soccer Management to organize a "Talent Identificaton Program". The aim of the program is to identify those athletes with technical and tactical capabilities and to guide them to a possible Club membership and contract.
The "Talent Identification Programs" are organized at specific locations called "Soccer Development Centres".
In 10 years activity more than 400 young players from all over the world have attended the event.

CONTENTS:
The Talent Identification technical training Program is identical in contents and intensity to the one used by Italian professional Clubs such as Empoli F.C. and Sunderland A.F.C.. Athletes participating to the TIP aim at developing their technical and tactical skills and to get used to a daily workload identical to professional players.
MEASURING PERFORMANCES:
Every 3 months the Academy will provide the athletes with personalized reports where the technical and tactical parameters will be evaluated in order to measure effective improvements. Weak technical and tactical aspects will be identified since the very beginning and athletes will be given according specific training.
COMPARING WITH PROFESSIONALS:
At least 4 times during the soccer season all athletes taking part to the TIP will play the youth Academy Clubs we cooperate with (Empoli F.C., A.C. Siena, A.C. Perugia, S.S.Lazio, to mention some) having the sole purpose in showing off their own technical qualities but also to compare and understand the average professional requirements needed by Clubs.

QUESTION
How long does the "Year-Round Talent Identification Program" course last for and what is the standard weekly training schedule provided ?
The 9 months course starts each years on 20th of September and ends on 10th of June of the following year.
Players can choose if to stay 1, 3, 6 or 9 months (please ask for information to our staff).
A standard weekly schedule includes soccer trainings Monday to Wednesday and Friday plus one at least friendly game/week normally on Wedneday games.
All the players registered to our course (if the Italian Football Federation doesn't have restrictions) will have the opportunity to take part to a local FIFA League.
I'm a High school student. Once registered to the "Year-Round Talent Identification Program" course, is there any risk I lose the academic year?
Players attending Convitto Nazionale School are provided with credits at the end of the academic year. Such credit are normally recognized by any home Institution.
I'm a High School student. Is there any other fee I should pay yet not mentioned or hidden?
No there isn't. You will only need some pocket money as for your personal expenses. The "Year Long Soccer Boarding Academy" fee includes the soccer side of the program, room and board in the Boarding School, School taxes and the local transportation. The Convitto Nazionale of Assisi is a public school and they provide students with 24 hours supervision. In order to help the students with the Italian language, the Convitto Nazionale of Assisi offers 8 hours/week Italian language class.
The athletes who participate in the Talent Identification Program England stay with the family site, that also deal a meal.
Is the "Year-Round Talent Identification Program" course available for University students? What does the fee include?
The registration to the University soccer program allows students to take part to the soccer side of the program and to be enrolled at the University for foreigners of Perugia/East Durham College, where players attend morning Italian language classes only. At the end of the course the University will release credits recognized by most Institutions. The "Year-Round Talent Identification Program " fee includes accommodation located into University dormitories, local transportation and the soccer side of the program. The training centre can be reached by bus and it is located very close to the centre.
Tuition fee does not include meals.
How do I apply for the Visa and the permit of stay?
The complete paperwork needed to apply for the visa are sent via mail by the school or the University. When you will be in Italy the Empoli football Academy staff will help you get everything ready to apply for your permit of stay.
During the "Year-Round Talent Identification Program" course will I be seen by any professional Club further than Empoli?
During the 9 months course Empoli Soccer Academy grants the organization of at least 3 technical selections to be performed within important Clubs. During these all the players will have the chance to be looked at and scouted directly by the affiliated team coaches. In addition, at the end of the course, there will be an Official Try-Out organised by Empoli Soccer Academy (this year is June 14 to 20). This event will be attended by scouts from all major Italian professional leagues.
