Final TRYOUT

- The players are permanently checked. During the Year Long Football Course, Ascoli Soccer Academy Managers will evaluate the technical abilities and skills of each football player to plan a future engagement in a professional team.

- Final Tryout at the end of the Program. The final week of the Annual Course is dedicated to the final Tryout where coaches, managers and talent scouts that work in important teams will attend the event in order to assess the possibility to insert the most talented players in a youth professional team.

The Ascoli Soccer Academy is an Professional Soccer/Football School based in Italy specialized in scouting of young football talents that collaborates with many Italian and European Professional Soccer/Football Clubs such as Ascoli Calcio. Ascoli Soccer Academy has a policy based on the training and research of young Soccer/Football players throughout the world.

every exigency for the players during their staying in Italy. The kit is composed by many accessories for the entire season:

How long does the “Year Long Soccer Boarding Academy” course last for and what is the standard weekly training schedule provided ?
The 9 months course starts on 20th of September and ends on 20th of June of the following year.
Players can choose if to stay 1, 3, 6 or 9 months (please ask the information to our staff).
A standard weekly schedule includes soccer trainings Monday to Wednesday, friendly games on Thursdays and Gym on Fridays.
All the players registered to our course (if the Italian Football Federation doesn’t have restrictions) will have the opportunity to take part to the FIGC League.

I’m a High school student. Once registered to the “Year Long Soccer Boarding Academy” course, is there any risk I lose the academic year?
Players attending Convitto Nazionale School are provided with credits at the end of the academic year normally recognized by any home Institution.

I’m a High School student. Is there any other fee I should pay yet not mentioned or hidden?
No there isn’t. You will only need some pocket money as for your personal expenses.
The “Year Long Soccer Boarding Academy” fee includes the soccer side of the program, room and board in the Boarding School, School taxes and the local transportation.
The Convitto Nazionale of Assisi is a public school and they provide students with 24 hours supervision.
In order to help the students with the Italian language, the Convitto Nazionale of Assisi provides them with 3 hours extra Italian language class every week.

Is the “Year Long Soccer Boarding Academy” course available for University students? What does the fee include?
The registration to the University soccer program allows students to take part to the soccer side of the program and to be enrolled at the University for foreigners of Perugia where players attend morning Italian language classes only. At the end of the course the University will release credits recognized by most Institutions.
The “Year Long Soccer Boarding Academy” fee includes accommodation located into University dormitories, local transportation and the soccer side of the program. The training centre can be reached by bus and it is located very close to the centre.

How do I apply for the Visa and the permit of stay?
The complete paperwork needed to apply for the visa are sent via mail by the school or the University. When you will be in Italy the Ascoli football Academy staff will help you get everything ready to apply for your permit of stay.

What is the relationship between Ascoli Soccer Academy and Ascoli Calcio?
Our academy was created as part of Ascoli Calcio football Club and we decided to create the Ascoli Soccer Academy in order to provide players, both Italian and foreigners, to be looked at and scouted directly by the professional affiliated team coaches.

During the “Year Long Soccer Boarding Academy” course will I be seen by any professional Club further than Ascoli Calcio?
During the 9 months course Ascoli Soccer Academy grants the organization of at least 3 technical selections to be performed within the following Clubs: Ascoli Calcio 1898, AC Perugia, A.C. Arezzo (22nd of March 2010), EmpoliFC andBologna FC. During these all the players will have the chance to be observed and scouted directly by the affiliated team coaches. In addition, at the end of the course, there will be an Official Try-Out organised by Ascoli Soccer Academy (this year is June 14 to 20). This event will be attended by scouts from all major Italian professional leagues.

How much costs the “Year Long Soccer Boarding Academy” course? Is there any specific discount based on an early registration?
