TALENT IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM
The "Talent Identfication Program" was created in 1997 by the cooperation between A.C. Perugia Calcio SPA (club playing italian Serie A at the time of the cooperation) and Italian Soccer Management srl with the aim of the scouting of young athletes on behalf of the above aforementioned club.
Some of the most well knows athletes who have trained with Perugia Calcio's youth teams are Gennaro Gattuso (AC Milan), Cristiano Lucarelli (SCC Napoli) and Andrea Ranocchia (FC Inter).
After 2005 and until 2010 Italian Soccer Management srl has carried forward the same project on behalf of Ascoli Calcio SPA (italian Serie B Club). By 2011 Italian Soccer Management srl cooperates with Empoli F.C. and Sunderland A.F.C. managing all initial selections and the technical organization of the 3 main offices in Empoli and Sunderland.
Empoli FC and Sunderland A.F.C. invests every year a lot of resources into their youth Teams and by this year they have asked Italian Soccer Management to organize a "Talent Identificaton Program". The aim of the program is to identify those athletes with superior technical and tactical capabilities and to guide them to a possible Club membership and contract.

LENGHT
There are two kinds of Talent Identification Program, different in commitment and lenght:
- The "Year-Round Talent Identification Program" with a duration of 9 months (from September to June) that coinciding with the opening and closure of the scholastic and academic year
- The "Monthly" Program with a duration of 1, 2, 3 or 6 months that can be attended during any period of the regular soccer season.
GOALS
CONTENTS:
The Talent Identification technical training Program is identical in contents and intensity to the one used by Italian professional Clubs such as Empoli FC and Sunderland AFC. Athletes participating to the TIP aim at developing their technical and tactical skills and to get used to a daily workload identical to professional players.
MEASURING PERFORMANCES:
Every 3 months the Academy will provide the athletes with personalized reports where the technical and tactical parameters will be evaluated in order to measure effective improvements.
Weak technical and tactical aspects will be identified since the very beginning and athletes will be given according specific training.
COMPARING WITH PROFESSIONALS:
At least 4 times during the soccer season all athletes taking part to the TIP will play the youth Academy Clubs we cooperate with (Empoli FC, AC Siena, AC Perugia, SS Lazio, etc..) having the sole purpose in showing off their own technical qualities but also to compare and understand the average professional requirements needed by Clubs.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

The soccer player registers to the "Talent Identification Program" TIP at a "Soccer Development Centre" SDC. At the beginning of program the players will have a technical and tactical evaluation whereby the professional Club (Empoli FC and Sunderland A.F.C.) will draw up a specific technical program to be followed. Every year a final Try-out is organized in June.

The soccer player who will be selected during the final try-out will have the opportunity to undertake a year-long test at a professional Club.

A tutor constantly supports the students in their daily needs, helping them getting familiar with the Italian or English culture.
